How the WSM system works

Your profile will be shown to everyone who may be interested. You choose whether to show your photo to everyone or just to your favourites.
When you find someone you want to talk to, just pay for any period you like. The longer the period, the less cost per day.

SweetTalk
Our SweetTalk message system shows the full conversation you have had with that person over your entire membership period. It refreshes very fast, so that you can have all the advantages of instant chat combined with a record of what you said before. It is totally confidential, of course. Say what you like. Give away your outside e- mail address, or your phone number as soon as you are ready. It is best to be pro-active and send a few messages to the people you "fancy" most. If you just wait for others to send messages to you, then you miss out on talking to all the people you yourself would choose.
You can SweetTalk as many people as you like. Each conversation is confidential between you and that one other person. The whole thread of your SweetTalk conversation is kept for you. When you go back to that person, you can see exactly what you both said, even weeks earlier.

Private notes
Private notes really are private. Nobody in the world ever sees them but you. Use them to make notes as you look at someone's profile. No more embarrassment as you get someone's childrens' names or their favourite sports wrong! Of course you can edit and delete your notes. Notes appear on a pop-up page so that you can use them particularly while you are SweetTalking. This feature is exclusive to Where Singles Meet.
Short lists
Some people never use short lists; other would not be without them. You can select people you might like from any search result into your own short lists. You can have up to six short lists, each containing up to 20 entries. You can search a number of times using different criteria, and pull out your choices into one of your lists. At any time you can then select from any short list. You might have lists for
people you want to talk to, but not make a relationship;
people you are now SweetTalking or chatting;
people you want to contact, but no more time tonight;
people in a particular area;
people you have contacted, but decided to go no further;
and of course, your favourites - define them how you like.
Your short lists will be saved for you, so you do not have to make fresh searches when you have logged on and searched recently. This saves a lot of time and fuss trying to remember details of people on your last search, particularly where you are searching in more than one geographical area. You can view your short lists immediately you log on. You can edit the list easily. The short list feature is exclusive to Where Singles Meet. Once used, you'll never want to be without it.
Favourites - one of your short lists
List favourites for your convenience. Note especially that you can give people access to your photos by putting their names in your favourites list. Edit favourites just like any other short list.
Matches are immediate
We know your time is precious. With Where Singles Meet you can get straight to the action. Your logged in page gives you your latest matches and all your short lists, so that you don't waste time clicking around the site.
As soon as you log on we give you the day's best matches. We select the results which reflect a balance between people online now, most recent activity of member, and closeness of match to your own profile. The results will usually be different from your own search choices.
Photos - optional (and highly recommended)
Everyone looks at photos first. Can you resist them? So important are photos that if you cannot scan your own we will even do it for you. Loads of helpful info on how to choose and scan photos.
Your profile - put it up for others to see and select
You choose what you want to disclose. You can say as much or as little as you like. Space for all things someone might like to know, and a special opportunity to express your personality in your own words. Change your profile as often as you wish.
When you have entered your profile, you can view it. It will appear just like any other profile.
